Power Flushing

A power flush is a cleaning procedure. It cleans the central heating water, the pipes, pump, radiators and the boiler, everything that the central heating water runs through.

Do you need a power flush?

• Do your radiators need bleeding frequently?
• Is your heating system slow to heat up?
• Are radiators partially or completely cold when they should be on?
• Do they sometimes make noises?
• Do you have repeated central heating pump failures?

if the answer to any of these is yes you may need your heating system power flushed.

What is a power flush?

Power Flushing is a safe and clean method of removing sludge and scale from central heating systems

The power flushing pump is connected into the heating system wherever most practical. The powerful flow, combined with instantaneous flow reverser device, will dislodge and mobilise deposits sludge and corrosion which harms your system

Once the corrosion and sludge deposits have been loosened and mobilised, fresh clean water is forced through the heating system, pushing the contaminated water out through a full bore dump valve to waste. Radiators are individually flushed, without removing or disconnecting them from the system.

At the end of the flushing process, the system contains fresh clean water and reinstatement of the system to normal operation takes only a few minutes.

Benefits of power flushing

System life extended:
Your system will last a lot longer if you Boilers, pumps, radiator valves and radiators is clean and has the correct levels of inhibitor.

Increased efficiency:
The more sludge removed by flushing, the more efficiency your system will be.

System reliability:
The less sludge there is in the system the cleaner the system will be, making it more reliable and less likely to break down.

Leaks and leak damage:
Without a power flush low levels of inhibitor in the system can cause the radiators to rust, and eventually start leaking, causing flood damage and a repair bill.

Savings:
you will save money from not having breakdowns and in the increase of efficiency and longevity in your system.

Speed:

Your system will perform and heat up faster when it is clear from sludge and any other debris which stop the system from working to its capacity.
